Business Development Executive

About the role

Impact Outdoors Dunedin is expanding its presence in the Queenstown and Central Otago region and is looking for a confident and motivated Business Development Executive. The role will focus on developing new business opportunities, meeting prospective customers, building relationships and supporting sales growth in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and follow up new residential and commercial leads
• Meet customers and understand their outdoor-living requirements
• Build relationships with homeowners, builders, developers, landscapers and other referral partners
• Take or assist with basic site measurements
• Arrange customer appointments and site visits
• Promote Impact Outdoors products and services
• Work closely with our Dunedin team to progress enquiries through to quotation and sale

About you

• Confident, professional and good with people
• Motivated to develop new business
• Comfortable working independently
• Organised with strong customer follow-up skills
• Comfortable with measurements, dimensions and basic site information
• Interested in construction, building or outdoor projects
• Background or interest in civil construction, building, quantity surveying, engineering, landscaping, property or sales would be an advantage
