Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of regional sales, marketing, and business development strategies in coordination with the Sales & Marketing Director, SS Business Development Director, and Regional Management teams.
  • Achieve agreed annual individual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new clients and business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing client accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, leads, and opportunities within Salesforce CRM.
  • Plan, prepare, and conduct regional sales visits to develop existing accounts, identify prospective clients, and generate new business.
  • Attend relevant industry conferences, market events, and client functions as required, including occasional evening and weekend engagements.
  • Conduct market research, monitor regional industry developments, and gather competitive intelligence, including market pricing.
  • Share relevant market intelligence and business opportunities with other Asset Integrity and Group Business Development teams.
  • Promote OES Group and DSL’s service portfolio, identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities, and expand the scope of services provided to existing clients.
  • Support client negotiations, ensuring commercially favourable outcomes and accurate, relevant, and enforceable sales terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate the preparation, compilation, and timely submission of technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender responses.
  • Help maintain and strengthen the reputation and market presence of OES Group and DSL.
  • Liaise with Regional Operations teams to communicate potential and upcoming projects and support operational planning and resource allocation.
  • Monitor client feedback on ongoing and completed projects and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with purchase order follow-ups and outstanding payments when required.
  • Develop and maintain a sound technical understanding of OES Group and DSL’s products and services.
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations to clients and prospective customers.
  • Ensure effective contract handovers in accordance with company procedures, working closely with the relevant SDM and OPRM personnel.
  • Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business development activities while adhering to company policies and the Code of Conduct.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A background in Asset Integrity, inspection, or a related technical discipline, preferably with previous field inspection experience before transitioning into an office-based or commercial role.
  • A strong technical understanding of the offshore oil and gas industry, including familiarity with regional shipyards and relevant industry stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable sales and business development experience, preferably within Asset Integrity, inspection, offshore oil and gas, or a related industry.
  • A proactive, commercially minded, and results-oriented approach to identifying and developing business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to prepare detailed reports, quotations, presentations, and tender documentation.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage regional sales activities.
  • A high level of self-motivation, initiative, and commitment to achieving targets.
  • Willingness and flexibility to attend industry events and client engagements outside normal working hours when required.
