Business Development Executive (Freight Forwarding) | Sales & Growth

Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics sector
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Understand clients' logistics requirements and propose suitable freight solutions
• Prepare quotations, proposals and negotiate commercial terms
• Follow up on leads, enquiries and business opportunities to drive conversion
• Monitor market trends and identify potential accounts and growth opportunities
• Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery
• Achieve individual and team sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related discipline
• 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping or B2B sales preferred
• Candidates from freight forwarding operations/customer service backgrounds looking to move into business development are welcome
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Driven, proactive and comfortable working towards sales targets
• Good understanding of freight forwarding solutions, preferably air and/or ocean freight
