Business Development Intern

Role Overview

Skillofy_AI is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Intern to support our growth team. This 3-month, full-time remote internship offers hands-on experience in content creation, lead generation, calling, and client conversions for our EdTech programs. The intern is expected to actively contribute to the sales pipeline and achieve a minimum of 2 enrollments during the internship period.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Assist in creating engaging content for social media, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and email campaigns
• Support the marketing team in designing promotional material for Skillofy_AI's programs
• Create content that highlights program value, success stories, and learning outcomes to attract leads

Lead Generation & Calling

• Identify and generate potential leads across B2C and B2B segments
• Conduct outbound calling to prospective learners and clients to introduce Skillofy_AI's programs
• Follow up with leads via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp to nurture interest
• Maintain accurate records of leads and call outcomes in the CRM

Conversions & Enrollments

• Engage with prospective learners to understand their upskilling needs and present suitable programs
• Convert qualified leads into successful enrollments, with a minimum target of 2 enrollments during the internship
• Coordinate with the admissions team to ensure smooth onboarding of enrolled learners

Collaboration & Reporting

• Collaborate with the BD, marketing, and content teams for cohesive outreach
• Share regular updates on content output, calling activity, and conversion progress
• Participate in team meetings and growth strategy discussions

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic skills in content creation (social media posts, captions, messaging)
• Confidence in making outbound calls and handling client conversations
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently in a remote setup
• Graduate or Undergraduate — Bachelor's degree (completed or pursuing) in Business, Marketing, or related field is mandatory

Good to Have

• Familiarity with Canva, social media tools, or basic content design
• Exposure to CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar)
• Interest in EdTech, Data Science, AI, or tech education

Internship Details & What We Offer

• Duration: 3 Months (Full-Time, Remote)
• Stipend: ₹8,000 per month
• Hands-on experience in EdTech sales, content creation, and business development
• Certificate of Internship on successful completion
• Possibility of a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) based on performance
