Business Development Manager (BDM)

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for developing, maintaining and growing relationships with motor dealerships. The role focuses on promoting and driving sales of the company’s insurance and non-insurance products while ensuring agreed sales targets are consistently achieved.

The BDM will regularly visit dealerships, identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with dealer principals, F&I managers and sales teams, provide product training and ongoing support, and actively drive product awareness and sales performance.

The BDM is accountable for growing existing dealership business, securing new dealerships, monitoring sales performance against targets, addressing barriers to sales, and ensuring dealerships receive a high level of service and support.

This is a results-driven, field-based role requiring regular dealership visits, proactive relationship management, strong sales ability and a clear focus on achieving and exceeding monthly sales target.

The Employee will receive a guaranteed basic salary of R15,000 per month for the first six (6) months of employment. Thereafter, the position will transition to a commission-only remuneration structure in accordance with the Company’s applicable commission structure.

The Employee will also receive a company petrol card for authorised business travel and a cellphone allowance in accordance with Company policy
