Business Development Manager - Building Materials

About the Business

My client operates at the premium end of the market, partnering with leading home builders, architects and designers to deliver roofing products and accessories all around Australia.

With deep technical expertise, the business plays a critical role in shaping how materials are selected, specified and delivered on high-end residential & commercial projects. Their reputation has been built on trust, design collaboration and an ability to influence outcomes early in the build lifecycle.

As they continue to grow, they're looking for a true sales professional with a hunting mentality with strong relationships in the residential & commercial markets.

The Opportunity

This is a senior, field-based role suited to someone who understands how the residential/commercial construction ecosystem truly works from specification through to installation.

You will take the lead in driving revenue growth, strengthening strategic relationships and increasing product adoption across key builder, contractor and specifier networks.

This is not an account management role. It is a true market-facing position requiring a proactive operator who can open doors, influence decision-makers and position premium solutions in a competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new business growth across Sydney's residential construction market
• Build and leverage relationships with builders, roofing contractors and key trades
• Engage architects and designers to influence product specification early
• Identify and convert project opportunities across high-end residential builds
• Position technical roofing and cladding systems as premium, value-driven solutions
• Maintain strong visibility in the market through consistent field engagement
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to deliver tailored project outcomes

Salary and Benefits

Base $110k - $130k | 12% Super | Company Car | Bonus
