About the role
Business Development Assistant Manager at Global Tax Free Singapore, authorised by Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) as a Central Refund Agent (CRA) and sole Central Refund Counter (CRC) operator in Singapore. Global Tax Free is licensed to provide tax refund services for tourists and specialises in tax-free shopping services, offering tax refund services for tourists and merchants and central refund counter operations.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and implement the approach to acquiring retail accounts relevant to our business
- Suggest and propose new ideas and initiatives to management
- Provide quality training to front-line staff, review statistics and identify business opportunities and performance improvements
- Conduct regular training and store visits
- Build multi-level relations with Finance, Operations, Marketing, Training, IT teams
- Improve merchants' knowledge to ensure retention
About you
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Strategic thinking and analytical abilities
- Retail experience preferred
- Self-driven with outgoing personality
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
