- Provide high-quality clinical and technical support to surgeons and theatre teams before, during and following procedures.
- Attend and support surgical procedures within hospital operating theatre environments where required.
- Coordinate and deliver product demonstrations, clinical education, training sessions and workshops for surgeons and clinical teams.
- Develop strong relationships with hospital procurement, theatre management and other relevant stakeholders involved in product evaluation and purchasing decisions.
- Manage and grow existing accounts while identifying opportunities to expand product utilisation across additional surgeons, departments and specialties.
- Research and analyse the New Zealand market to identify trends, competitors, clinical opportunities and areas for portfolio expansion.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in medical device, surgical, biologics or clinically focused healthcare sales and business development.
- Strong clinical experience and confidence working directly with surgeons and clinical teams within hospital operating theatre environments is essential.
- An established professional network within the New Zealand healthcare market, ideally spanning multiple specialties including Orthopaedics, ENT, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental.
- A strong track record of developing surgeon relationships and successfully growing a territory, product portfolio or clinical market.
- Ability to engage credibly with senior surgeons, specialists and other clinical stakeholders and develop trusted, long-term relationships.
- Strong understanding of the hospital environment and the clinical, procurement and commercial processes involved in introducing and adopting new medical technologies.
- Confidence providing procedural support, product demonstrations, clinical training and education.
