Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Regional Director of Facilities Operations to work on a contract basis. This role leads the strategic and day-to-day management of facilities across multiple key locations, including New York City, Pawling (NY), Washington, D.C., and Florida. It ensures buildings and grounds meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of facilities maintenance, aligning operations with organizational needs and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to shape and implement operational strategies and procedures.

• Oversee compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as safety and security protocols.

• Manage facilities teams to maintain optimal conditions for staff, volunteers, and animals across locations.

• Ensure a healthy environment for all animals visiting or housed at facilities, whether short-term or long-term.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Facilities management experience in multi-site operations.

• Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in healthcare or animal care settings.

• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.

• Ability to develop and implement operational policies and procedures.

• Experience working with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

• Budget management and cost-control experience.

• Problem-solving and crisis management in facility-related issues.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
