Business Development Manager

Must Have Requirement

1. Relevant Industry Experience: 8–12 years in sales/business development in gensets, power backup, or energy solutions
2. Technical Foundation: Strong understanding of diesel gensets, power ratings, applications, and basic electrical systems
3. Customer Network: Existing relationships with EPCs, consultants, contractors, developers, and industrial clients
4. Techno-Commercial Skills: Ability to create and present proposals, handle pricing discussions, and negotiate contracts
5. Communication & Negotiation: Strong client-facing skills with ability to influence decision-makers
6. Mobility & Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and site visits
7. Market Knowledge: Awareness of key segments like real estate, infrastructure, manufacturing, cold storage etc.

Good to Have Requirements –

1. MBA or Equivalent: Formal business education as an added advantage
2. CRM Tools: Experience using Salesforce, Zoho, or similar platforms for pipeline management
3. Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of policies, emissions norms, and energy regulations
4. Solution Selling Mindset: Ability to position integrated energy solutions rather than standalone products
5. BESS Exposure: Experience in battery energy storage systems or hybrid solutions (solar + storage + genset)
