What they need
About Net Connect Corp
Net Connect Corp (NCC) is a licensed low voltage contractor specializing in high-quality low voltage solutions for commercial clients across South Florida and surrounding areas. Our experienced technicians deliver structured cabling, security systems, access control, wireless networks, and surveillance cameras tailored to each client's environment.
We focus on customized, end-to-end solutions that improve safety, connectivity, and operational efficiency. The team is committed to exceptional customer service, collaborative problem-solving, and long-term client relationships, making Net Connect Corp a strong fit for professionals who value technical excellence and real customer impact.
The Job
One person, one job: bring in low voltage work for NCC.
The way you do that is by becoming the low voltage contact for the people in South Florida who influence where this work goes — general contractors, electrical contractors, IT companies and MSPs, VoIP providers, property managers, and the consultants who spec cameras and access control. You build those relationships through chambers, BNI, industry associations, and plain persistence. When they produce an opportunity, you run it: discovery, site walk, proposal with our estimating team, and close.
This is not a lead-gen role that hands deals off, and it's not a desk job waiting for inbound. You own the relationship and you own the close. You're measured on gross margin booked and on the partner network you build to get there.
We're looking for someone 3–4 years into a sales career who already understands how construction projects get bought, knows what a low voltage scope is, and can hold a basic conversation about networking without a script.
What You'll Do
- Build the network. Be active in chambers of commerce, BNI, and industry associations (BOMA, ABC, CAI, IFMA, AGC). Three to five events or group meetings a week, every week.
- Turn contacts into partners. Set up referral and preferred-sub relationships with GCs, ECs, MSPs, VoIP providers, and property managers who don't self-perform low voltage. Keep them warm with regular touchpoints and lunch-and-learns.
- Run the opportunities they send you. Discovery call, site walk, scope capture, proposal with estimating, presentation, close. Hand off cleanly to project management.
- Go direct where it makes sense. Commercial buildings, offices, warehouses, schools, medical facilities, and multi-site businesses that need cabling, cameras, access control, or Wi-Fi.
- Grow what you close. Follow up on completed installs for add-on work, new locations, and recurring service or maintenance agreements.
- Keep it visible. CRM updated daily. Weekly pipeline and partner review with the Vice President.
- You’ll be accountable to revenue targets, not just activity.
What You Bring
Required
- 3–4 years of B2B sales experience with a track record you can walk us through deal by deal
- Experience selling into or within the construction industry (trades, building products, electrical, security, telecom, or similar)
- Working understanding of low voltage systems and basic networking (what a switch does, Cat6 vs. fiber, how an IP camera gets on a network)
- Comfortable walking into a room where you don't know anyone and leaving with three contacts — and following up with all three
- Self-directed: you set your own schedule and are measured on results
- Clear, professional written communication
- Valid Florida driver's license, reliable vehicle, clean driving record; authorized to work in the U.S.
Strongly preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Existing relationships with GCs, ECs, MSPs, or property managers in South Florida
- Prior involvement in a chamber, BNI, or industry association
- Ability to read basic construction drawings and identify low voltage scope
Who Succeeds Here
- You'd rather build ten relationships that each send you work every year than chase a hundred one-off leads
- You follow up. Every time. Without being reminded.
- You're early in your career and want a seat where you can build something, not inherit a book
- You can talk to a superintendent on a job site and an IT director in a conference room the same afternoon
- You care about bringing in the right jobs at the right margin, not just any jobs

- Guaranteed commission floor during your first six months while you ramp
