Business Development Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• 57 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Key Account Management within the Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge of Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Brokerage, Transportation, Warehousing, and Supply Chain solutions.
• Proven track record in new customer acquisition, account development, and achieving revenue and gross margin targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop customer-focused logistics solutions.
• Proficiency in CRM applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and Cargowise, experience with sales analytics and reporting tools will be an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer opportunities simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively across Sales, Pricing, Operations, Customer Service, and Product teams to deliver exceptional customer value.
• High levels of professionalism, accountability, customer orientation, and commitment to achieving business objectives.
