BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Common responsibilities of a Business Development Manager:

• Identify and pursue new sales and business opportunities
• Research markets, industries, and potential customers
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and partners
• Create business proposals and negotiate deals
• Develop sales strategies and growth plans
• Work with marketing, sales, and product teams

Typical qualifications for a BDM role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Finance, or a related field (often preferred)
• Experience in sales, account management, marketing, or business development
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build client relationships
• Knowledge of market research and sales strategies
• Goal-oriented and able to meet targets
• Good presentation and networking skills
• Familiarity with CRM tools (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) can be an advantage
