Business Development Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, market research, and other channels.
• Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal teams for suitable proposals.
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and business presentations.
• Follow up on leads, enquiries, quotations, and negotiations to convert opportunities into business.
• Achieve assigned business development and revenue targets.
• Conduct market research and identify new market opportunities.
• Monitor competitors, market trends, and customer requirements.
• Negotiate commercial terms with clients as per company guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth project handover after business closure.
• Maintain updated records of leads, client meetings, follow-ups, proposals, and conversions.
• Prepare regular business development reports for management.
• Develop strategies to expand the company's client base and market presence.
