🚢 Hiring | Business Development – Coastal Shipping

A leading Maritime Operations & Ship Management Company is looking for an experienced Business Development / Commercial professional to drive growth in coastal shipping and marine logistics.

Experience: 8–12 years

Location: Thane, Maharashtra

Key Responsibilities:

Develop new business opportunities in coastal shipping and marine logistics.
Manage tenders/RFQs, commercial proposals and contract negotiations.
Build relationships with cargo owners, traders, logistics companies, ports and charterers.
Drive customer acquisition, retention and revenue growth.
Coordinate with Operations, Fleet, Technical, Finance and Legal teams.
Track market trends, freight rates, competition and business opportunities.

Requirements:

Graduate in Business, Shipping, Logistics, Marine, Engineering or related field; MBA/PG preferred.
Strong experience in business development, commercial, chartering or shipping .
Experience in coastal shipping/cargo transportation/vessel operations preferred.
Strong negotiation, commercial, communication and stakeholder management skills.
