Position Business Development Manager

Job Description As a Business Development Manager, you are responsible to develop new suppliers in Asia. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective business strategy. This will include evaluating suppliers based on cost, quality, service, availability, reliability, and selection variety. Supplier management will include effective supplier management, identifying new avenues of supply across various manufacturers and managing the ongoing relationship with the vendors. This position will report to sourcing manager in the company and work in conjunction with the Regional Managers, Commodity Managers, Trade groups to develop the distribution and other inventory avenues to grow the Converge sourcing base.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist sourcing manager to execute the strategy of suppler management.
• Assist sourcing manager to Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand and supplier trends of assigned commodities
• Maintain and enhance partnership with existing suppliers.
• Develop good relationships with new Franchised Distributors and brokers
• Acquire more stock lists from suppliers to upload into Q-trade system
• Work with buyers and suppliers to enhance quote / hit rate on lists
• Feedback to sales teams on opportunities / quotes
