Business Development Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities in Air Freight, Sea Freight, and Logistics.
• Identify and acquire new customers while expanding existing accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and corporate customers.
• Generate leads, conduct client meetings, and convert prospects into business.
• Prepare quotations and coordinate with Pricing and Operations teams to offer competitive solutions.
• Negotiate freight rates, commercial terms, and service agreements.
• Achieve revenue, profitability, and sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and periodic performance updates.
• Manage and develop the sales team, where applicable.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1020 years of experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics Sales.
• Strong knowledge of Air Freight, Sea Freight, and end-to-end logistics solutions.
• Proven track record in client acquisition, revenue generation, and business development.
• Experience in pricing coordination, rate negotiation, and key account management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong client network and commercial understanding.
• Leadership and team management experience preferred for senior positions.
