Business Development Manager

Role Overview
This is a strategic, first-hire "Hunter" role for our Thailand operations. Instead of selling physical products, you will be pitching design expertise, creative vision, and world-class consulting services. You will be responsible for securing premium lighting design contracts by presenting our international portfolio to top-tier real estate developers, luxury hotel operators, elite architects, and landscape design masters in Bangkok. You must be able to fluently navigate long-cycle project discussions, from early concept master planning down to technical architectural specifications.

Qualifications & Profile

--Experience: 3 to 5+ years of business development, project specification, or client management experience within a design consultancy environment (e.g., architectural firm, interior design practice, engineering consultancy, or high-end lighting design firm) in Bangkok.

--Educational Background: A degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting Design, or Business/Marketing is welcome, but not mandatory. Proven industry experience and a strong track record of securing premium B2B project contracts take absolute precedence.

--Industry Credibility: A profound understanding of how design fees, architectural project phases, and consultancy contracts operate in the Thai market.

--Technical Literacy: A strong aesthetic appreciation for luxury design and the ability to quickly learn architectural blueprints, master plans, and interior renderings is what counts.

--Network: An active, verifiable network of premium Bangkok developers, hotel owners, elite architects, and design decision-makers.

--Language:

*Thai: Native fluency (required for navigating local corporate networks and developer relationships).

*English: Professional proficiency (for international project coordination).

*Mandarin: Proficiency is highly advantageous and preferred (to facilitate seamless, direct communication and design collaboration with our Greater China design teams and corporate office).
