Business Development Manager

We are seeking a Business Development Manager for our B2B corporate/enterprise segment. This role is crucial for driving new business from importers, exporters, software companies, logistics providers, shipping firms, and new economy businesses such as marketplaces with cross-border payment needs. Given the pivotal stage of our growth and ambitious expansion plans, this position offers a unique opportunity for anyone looking to advance their sales career in the fintech payments sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue business prospects to meet assigned sales targets.
• Expand the share of wallet from existing clients.
• Achieve or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
• Cultivate strong client relationships; engage and influence key decision-makers to deepen connections and generate referrals.

Requirements:

• 1-8 years of relevant experience in cross-border payments or sales targeting the MSME segment.
• A professional degree like an MBA from an IIM or professional qualification like Chartered Accountancy from a recognized university is preferred.
• Prior experience with a Fintech or Bank is preferred
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
• Characteristics: persistent, reliable, coachable, and possessing high integrity.
• Ability to thrive under pressure with meticulous attention to detail.
