Now, we're looking for a driven Business Development Manager to help take our Waukegan location to the next level.

This isn't a position where you'll sit behind a desk waiting for opportunities to come to you. We need a hunter, someone who enjoys prospecting, opening doors, building meaningful relationships, and turning new connections into lasting business partnerships.

You'll have the backing of an established, industry-leading organization, along with the independence to make a real impact in your market.

What You'll Be Doing

• Drive new business. Identify, pursue, and develop relationships with commercial property owners, property managers, schools, hospitals, industrial facilities, and other key decision-makers.
• Own your territory. Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand our presence and grow market share throughout the Waukegan area.
• Open doors. Proactively prospect, network, and create opportunities rather than relying on existing accounts or inbound leads.
• Build lasting partnerships. Become a trusted resource for organizations that need a dependable restoration partner.
• Get out into the community. Lead meetings, presentations, educational events, and industry networking opportunities.
• Turn activity into results. Manage your pipeline, follow up consistently, and convert relationships into measurable business growth.
• Be our local ambassador. Represent Paul Davis with professionalism, confidence, and a genuine passion for helping customers when they need us most.

Who Will Thrive Here?

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a hunter mentality and a demonstrated ability to generate new business.
• Is highly self-motivated and doesn't need someone managing their daily activities.
• Enjoys the challenge of building a territory and creating opportunities from the ground up.
• Is comfortable approaching decision-makers, initiating conversations, and asking for business.
• Understands that successful business development requires persistence, consistency, and follow-through.
• Can build relationships at every level, from facility managers to executive leadership.
• Thinks strategically, takes ownership, and holds themselves accountable for results.
• Brings 5+ years of relevant business development, outside sales, or relationship-building experience.

Experience in restoration, construction, commercial insurance, property management, or facility operations is a plus, but your ability to develop business and build relationships matters most.
