Business Development Manager – Construction & Architect & Designer Partnerships

O&K Property Works Ltd (OKPW) is an established London construction company, operating since 2007. We specialise in high-quality residential construction, refurbishment, extensions, loft conversions, structural works, as well as both Build Only and Design & Build projects.

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help us develop relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants and other professionals who can introduce suitable construction projects and tender opportunities.

This is a part-time, fully remote role, approximately 4–6 hours per week.

The successful candidate must be based and living in the UK.

The role

The main part of the role is direct telephone communication.

You must be comfortable working from home and speaking to architects, interior designers and other relevant professionals by phone, introducing OKPW, building relationships and helping us become considered for future projects and tender lists.

Email will be used for follow-up and supporting information where required, but this is not an email-only role.

The role will include:

* Contacting architects, interior designers, consultants and relevant industry professionals

* Building long-term professional relationships

* Introducing OKPW and our construction services

* Identifying suitable residential construction opportunities

* Helping OKPW gain invitations to tender

* Following up contacts and maintaining communication

* Keeping clear notes of conversations, outcomes and next steps

* Using your own professional knowledge, industry experience and existing contacts where relevant

Who we are looking for

We are particularly interested in candidates who already have experience within the construction, architecture, interior design, property or related sectors.

Previous relationships or contacts with architects, interior designers, consultants or clients involved in construction projects would be a strong advantage and will be given priority.

You should be:

* Confident and professional on the telephone

* Comfortable speaking directly with architects, designers and decision-makers

* Experienced in business development or relationship building

* Able to work independently from home

* Organised with follow-ups and record keeping

* Commercially aware and able to recognise genuine project opportunities

* Based in the UK

Pay

£15–£25 per hour, depending on experience.

There is also additional commission/bonus for successfully secured projects.

The exact starting rate will depend on your background, relevant industry experience and existing professional network.
