Business Development Manager – Bulk & Intermodal Logistics

North Sea Bulk Logistics BV is developing specialist logistics solutions connecting Benelux, the UK and wider Europe through road, rail and sea.

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with knowledge and existing contacts within the dry bulk, polymer, powder, tank container or intermodal logistics sectors .

The Role

You will focus on identifying and developing new transport and logistics opportunities, including:

• Dry bulk powders and granular products
• Polymers and plastic raw materials
• Tank container and silo tanker movements
• Intermodal road, rail and sea transport
• Benelux–UK and European transport lanes
• Port collections and onward transport
• Storage and supply-chain solutions
• Long-term customer and logistics partnerships

The role is primarily focused on bringing new business, developing customer relationships and opening profitable transport lanes .

What We Are Looking For

Ideally, you will have:

• Experience in bulk, polymer, chemical, transport or intermodal logistics
• Existing contacts with manufacturers, producers, traders or logistics companies
• Good knowledge of the Benelux logistics market
• Experience developing new customers and transport contracts
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• English required; Dutch, French or German would be an advantage

We are particularly interested in candidates who already understand the bulk logistics market and have an established industry network .

Commercial Package

Competitive contract package with performance-related commission and bonuses .

Commercial terms will be discussed individually based on experience, industry knowledge and existing customer network.
