Business Development Manager - Education Loans

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business growth for education loan products through client acquisition and partnerships.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with students, institutions, and channel partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, and training institutes.
• Collaborate with product, credit, and operations teams to ensure smooth loan processing and customer satisfaction.
• Lead negotiations, presentations, and business pitches to expand market presence.
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and provide insights for strategy development.
• Prepare MIS reports and present performance updates to senior management.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of NBFC/Banking education loan products.
• Proven expertise in business development, sales, and client relationship management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead initiatives.
• Analytical mindset with focus on growth and customer experience.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in business development, preferably in NBFCs or financial services.
• Prior exposure to education loan domain is highly desirable.
