The Leadership Collective

About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a US-based online international high school, operating for over 150 years, to hire a Business Development Manager in Mexico. The school has successfully entered Turkey, Vietnam, China and South Korea, and Latin America is its next phase of growth.
Mexico is a priority market. There is no existing client base, brand presence or infrastructure here today, so you will be building the market from the ground up, with real ownership over how it’s done. This is an individual contributor role with a clear path to shape regional growth and future team expansion as the business scales.

Build relationships with private schools, bilingual schools, education agents and channel partners across Mexico

Generate and close new business, promoting access to a US high school diploma pathway

Own the full sales cycle, from first contact through contract negotiation and payment

Shape pricing, promotions and go-to-market strategy for the Mexican market

Report directly to senior leadership as the school’s main in-market representative

What We Need (Must Haves)
Please only apply if you meet all of the following:

A completed undergraduate degree in business, marketing, economics or a related field

Direct experience promoting or selling
US education programs
. General international education, language schools or non-US programs will not be considered

Channel sales experience, ideally with existing relationships with schools or education agents in Mexico

A proven track record of building a territory or client base from scratch

Fluent English and Spanish

Based in Mexico

Who Thrives Here
Someone self-driven and target-focused who enjoys working independently in a remote-first environment, and who is energised by building something new rather than managing something that already exists.
Compensation

$25,000 to $35,000 USD base salary

Performance-based commission

Realistic first-year on-target earnings of $65,000 to $90,000 USD
