Business Development Manager (Microfinance)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Finance, Economics, or any related field.
• Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Strategic Marketing, Commercial Management, Finance, or related discipline is an advantage.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in commercial strategy, business development, sales management, marketing, customer loyalty programs, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of managerial experience leading cross-functional teams and commercial initiatives.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing commercial strategies, campaigns, loyalty programs, and business growth initiatives.
• Strong background in data analysis, KPI management, business planning, and commercial performance evaluation.
• Experience in budget preparation, cost control, and profitability analysis.
• Exposure to the financial services, lending, microfinance, banking, or related industries is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), process improvement, and project management methodologies is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and data reporting tools.
• Experience using CRM systems, ERP platforms, and business intelligence tools is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with various departments.
• Willing to travel as required and relocate if necessary.
