Business Development Officer (BDO)

The Business Development Officer (BDO) focuses on acquiring new customers through active field engagement, driving account acquisition, and strengthening the banks retail footprint within assigned territories.

Core Responsibilities

• Field Sourcing Client Acquisition: Drive direct sales initiatives and local market visits to onboard new Current Account Savings Account (CASA) customers.
• Target Delivery: Achieve individual monthly account opening targets and business volume metrics.
• Pipeline Management: Convert marketing leads and self-sourced opportunities into active, funded accounts.
• KYC Onboarding: Manage end-to-end customer onboarding, including document collection, application submission, and initial deposit processing.
• Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the initial point of contact to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and build early client trust.

Required Candidate Profile

• Educational Background: Bachelors degree in any discipline.
• Key Competencies: Strong sales acumen, negotiation capability, and clear communication in English and local languages.
• Key Attributes: Result-oriented, self-driven, professionally presented, and comfortable with field mobility and direct target accountability.
