Business Development Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Source, prospect, and onboard new individual and small business customers to grow deposits/investments.
• Achieve a monthly production target of ₦15,000,000 and an annual target of ₦180,000,000.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospects through field marketing, referrals, cold calls, and community engagement.
• Develop and execute a daily/weekly call plan to consistently meet or exceed assigned targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business, top-ups, and referrals.
• Educate customers accurately on products, rates, and terms in line with company policy and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit regular (daily/weekly/monthly) reports on prospecting activity, pipeline status, and production against target.
• Ensure all customer onboarding, KYC, and account documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
• Work closely with Affiliate Partners and Fund Mobilization Officers to expand reach and cross-sell opportunities.
• Resolve customer queries and escalate issues promptly to ensure high service quality.
• Represent the company at community events, markets, and local business forums to build brand visibility and generate leads.
