Business Development Officer

Work Location: Davao City

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Saturday (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

STARTING SALARY RANGE : 25,000.00 - 35,000.00

Job Summary Lead the Management Committee in reviewing existing business operations and exploring strategic new ventures. The Business Development Officer is responsible for scanning industry trends, technological advancements, financial/marketing schemes, and workforce development strategies to drive sustainable company growth within available resources.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Business Development: Collaborate directly with the President to translate business visions, concepts, and ideas into actionable projects and programs. Prepare and evaluate comprehensive Feasibility Studies for new concepts.

Committee Leadership: Preside over Management Committee meetings, leading department managers to brainstorm, organize, and execute innovative project plans within established timeframes.

Financial & Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with the Finance Manager and Controller for initial financial evaluations. Partner with the HR Manager to assess workforce retraining needs for new operational requirements.

Strategic Planning & Reporting: Participate in 5-year and 10-year business planning, review departmental policies for efficiency improvements, and compile monthly accomplishment and statistical reports.

Market Intelligence & Client Relations: Oversee the collection of internal and external market data, while spearheading customer relationship development initiatives.

Job Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy. Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Feasibility Study preparation with a solid accounting background. Proven experience in strategic planning and execution.

Key Skills Strong mathematical, statistical, reporting, and computer literacy skills.

Exceptional written, verbal communication, and group facilitation abilities.

High interpersonal competence and readiness to travel or work flexible hours as required.
