Business Development Officer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field;
• At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in the construction or engineering industry);
• Strong understanding of market trends, client acquisition, and sales processes;
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM tools or project tracking systems;
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
• Having a means of transportation to visit and meet with clients or prospects is an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify potential clients, business opportunities, and market segments for company expansion
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Prepare and present business proposals, project quotations, and partnership agreements
• Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, Sales, and Operations) to ensure smooth execution of client projects
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support business decisions
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s revenue goals
• Represent the company in client meetings, events, and industry-related activities
• Monitor ongoing projects and ensure client satisfaction from proposal to project completion
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market developments
• Assist in creating marketing materials and business development plans
