Business Development | Sales Executive

Job Summary

Join our environmental services team and help industrial and manufacturing clients manage their regulated industrial waste (scheduled waste) safely, efficiently, and in compliance with environmental regulations.

You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, understanding clients’ waste management needs, and recommending suitable waste handling, recovery, and disposal solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities within manufacturing, industrial, and plant-based companies.
• Conduct site visits to understand clients’ waste generation processes and operational needs.
• Propose suitable waste handling solutions based on technical requirements.
• Prepare proposals and quotations, and participate in sales presentations.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close sales to achieve revenue targets.
• Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Stay updated on environmental regulations and industry practices.
• Assist in ad-hoc business development tasks as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

• SPM / Diploma / Degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, Engineering, or any related field.
• OR experience as a Sales Engineer / Technical Sales in industrial, chemical, manufacturing, or engineering products.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable with outdoor sales and regular site visits.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel within the assigned territory.
• Field sales role covering the assigned territory. Office reporting at Sungai Jawi, Penang, mainly for meetings, coordination, and administrative purposes.
