The Company
Rhino Networks is a rapidly growing technology company and leading Cisco partner specializing in Cisco Meraki and Cisco Cloud Security solutions. For more than a decade, we’ve taken a deliberately focused approach to our business: we don’t sell everything. Instead, we maintain a selective portfolio that allows our team to become true experts in the technologies we represent and deliver an exceptional experience to every customer. Headquartered in Asheville, NC, with a second office in Scottsdale, AZ, Rhino combines the opportunity and energy of a growing technology company with a collaborative, team-first, servanthood culture. We work hard, have fun, grow together, and are excited to add another Rhino to the CRASH !
The Role
We are looking for an energetic, motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Scottsdale team. As a BDR, you’ll play an important role in growing Rhino’s business by identifying new opportunities, engaging prospective customers, qualifying inbound interest, and building pipeline for our sales team. This is not a role for someone who wants to sit back and wait for opportunities to arrive. Successful Rhino BDRs are curious, driven, organized, comfortable hearing “no,” and willing to pick up the phone and create opportunities. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively with our sales and marketing teams, using tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn, email, and phone outreach to identify and connect with potential customers.
Responsibilities
· Research prospective customers, accounts, and target markets
· Conduct outbound prospecting through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
· Qualify inbound leads and determine sales readiness
· Identify customer needs and uncover potential sales opportunities
· Schedule qualified meetings and introductions for Rhino’s sales team
· Develop and execute targeted email and outbound prospecting campaigns
· Maintain accurate prospect and activity information within Rhino’s systems
· Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on campaigns, messaging, and target accounts
· Consistently work toward individual and team pipeline goals
· Learn Rhino’s Cisco Meraki and Cisco Cloud Security portfolio and become comfortable discussing these solutions with prospective customers
· In-Office: Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday | WFH: Monday & Friday
Most Important … The You
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position does not provide employment sponsorship.
We can teach technology. We can teach our sales process. What we’re looking for first is the right person to join our team of Rhinos:
· Strong desire to serve everyone
· Energetic, positive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of your results
· Resilient and able to handle rejection without losing momentum
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong organizational and time-management skills
· Comfortable starting conversations with people you haven’t met before
· Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and continuously improve with the team
· Desire to work collaboratively and contribute to a servanthood-team-first culture
· Familiarity with Salesforce, Outlook, Excel, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, SalesLoft, or similar business applications is preferred
· Previous experience qualifying marketing leads or sales opportunities is a plus
· Previous experience with cold calling, email prospecting, or web-based customer engagement is a plus
· Technology or Cisco experience is helpful—but it is not required.
The Benefits
· Monthly health insurance stipend
· Group life insurance offering
· Group vision and dental offering
· Group accident and supplemental insurance options
· 401(k) all offered after six months
· Paid vacation, sick/personal days, and holidays
· Training on advanced Cisco and cloud-managed technologies
· Professional development and opportunities for growth
· Fun, upbeat office environment with a team-first mentality
· Base salary plus commission, based on experience
·
