What You’ll Do

As our Business Development Manager, you’ll be the face of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in the local business community. You’ll build trust, share our story, and deliver smart commercial moving and logistics solutions for businesses of all sizes.

Your day-to-day impact includes:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with local businesses, property managers, real estate professionals, and corporate partners
• Identifying and developing new Business and commercial sales opportunities
• Representing the brand at networking events, business meetings, chamber events, and community functions
• Collaborating with operations and sales teams to deliver seamless, high-quality service
• Managing our sales pipeline, outreach, and follow-ups to keep opportunities moving forward

Sales & Business Development

• Develop and execute local sales strategies to generate new business, increase revenue, and expand market share.
• Proactively prospect and identify new business opportunities through cold calling, in-person visits, referrals, networking, and targeted outreach.
• Build strategic referral partnerships with property management companies, real estate professionals, office managers, commercial businesses, and other local organizations.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell moving, packing, storage, and related services to existing and prospective customers.
• Track team sales activities, leads, conversion rates, and revenue opportunities to measure performance and identify areas for growth.
• Collaborate with franchise leadership to establish sales goals, evaluate market opportunities, and develop strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Marketing & Community Engagement

• Partner with franchise leadership and marketing resources to support local marketing initiatives that generate awareness, leads, and business opportunities.
• Identify and develop local marketing partnerships, sponsorships, and community collaborations that increase brand visibility and support business growth.
• Represent TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® at trade shows, networking events, chamber meetings, and community activities to build brand awareness and generate leads.
• Support local marketing campaigns by identifying target audiences, sharing customer insights, and recommending opportunities based on market trends and customer needs.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to highlight successful moves, customer testimonials, and community partnerships through social media and other marketing channels.
• Monitor local competitors, business developments, and market trends to identify new opportunities for sales outreach and strategic partnerships.
