Business Development Superintendent

About the role
As Business Development Superintendent at PT Samindo Resources Tbk, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and expansion. You will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities that align with the company's strategic objectives. This full-time position is located in South Jakarta.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct market research and analyse industry trends to identify potential business opportunities, new markets, products, and services.
• Support the development and execution of business development initiatives to achieve company growth objectives.
• Assist in identifying and engaging prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders to expand the company's business network.
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, reports, and supporting documents for business development activities.
• Collect, compile, and analyse market intelligence, competitor information, and business performance data.
• Coordinate with internal departments to support the implementation of new business projects and initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of business opportunities, client interactions, and project progress.
• Monitor ongoing business development activities and provide regular updates to management.
• Support negotiations and follow-up activities with clients and business partners as required.

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in English (oral & written) is a must.
• Total working experience minimum 4 years in Business Development.
• Candidates with prior experience in the plantation or maritime industry will be given preference.
• Bachelor's Degree in related field, from reputable university.
• Proven track record of success in business development, corporate planning/ related.
• Proficiency in conducting feasibility studies, including data analysis, financial modelling, and risk assessment.
• Strong ability to identify and capture new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Proficient in market research, financial analysis and strategic planning.
• Willing to take business trip as required.
