Position Overview:
The Business Insights Analyst will develop the analytical facts required to improve commercial decision-making across Trilliant's brands, customers, and channels.

The Analyst will partner closely with Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Data Science & Analytics, Sales, Finance, Category Management, Marketing, and Business Units.

Identify trends, anomalies, opportunities, and performance gaps.
Conduct root-cause analysis to distinguish between distribution, velocity, pricing, promotion, mix, seasonality, and other performance drivers.
Develop recurring scorecards and reporting that focuses attention on material business opportunities and risks.
Proactively identify insights rather than relying solely on incoming analytical requests.
Promotion & Trade Analytics
Measure baseline performance, promotional lift, incremental volume, cannibalization, post-promotion effects, ROI, and profitability.
Evaluate performance by customer, SKU, promotional depth, frequency, timing, and mechanic.
Develop standardized pre/post-event measurement methodologies.
Identify patterns associated with high- and low-performing promotions.
Partner with RGM to provide the analytical evidence required to optimize future promotion and trade strategies.
Pricing, Distribution & Assortment Analytics
Analyze everyday and promotional pricing across products, customers, channels, and competitors.
Support pricing and elasticity analysis.
Analyze SKU-level distribution and velocity.
Evaluate distribution incrementality and SKU productivity.
Quantify performance following pricing, assortment, or distribution changes.
Support RGM and Category Management with analysis of assortment and price-pack opportunities.
Data & Analytical Tools
Integrate data from syndicated sources, retailer platforms, internal shipment data, TPM, financial systems, and other commercial data sources.
Develop scalable dashboards, models, scorecards, and analytical tools.
Establish consistent definitions and methodologies for commercial KPIs.
Partner with Sales Operations and other data owners to identify and resolve data-quality gaps.
Reduce manual reporting through repeatable analytical processes and automation.
Advanced Analytics
Partner with the Director of Data Science & Analytics on advanced methodologies where appropriate, including statistical modeling, elasticity, incrementality, forecasting, experimentation, and causal analysis.
Support development and validation of analytical models used in commercial decision-making.
