Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Description A leading organization in the healthcare and insurance space is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join its growing analytics team. This role is responsible for delivering data-driven insights that support strategic and operational decision-making across the business.

As a key member of the analytics function, you will partner with stakeholders across multiple departments to identify trends, build impactful reporting solutions, and develop actionable insights that improve business performance. Location: Boston, MA

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite

Compensation: Up to $105,000 annually Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, statistics, informatics, or a related field
• Experience working with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, or similar reporting and visualization tools
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data analysis techniques
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into reporting and analytical solutions
• Experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for business users
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience within insurance, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries
• Exposure to advanced analytics, predictive modeling, or data science initiatives
• Experience with Alteryx, SAS, or similar analytical tools
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality practices
• Experience collaborating with both business and technology teams

What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs
• Extract, transform, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that drive business decisions
• Identify trends, opportunities, and performance insights through data analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards
• Support data governance initiatives and help ensure the integrity and quality of enterprise data
• Assist in evaluating new data sources, technologies, and reporting solutions
• Work alongside analytics and technology teams to improve data accessibility and usability
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization
• Contribute to data preparation efforts that support advanced analytics and modeling projects
