What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to support analytics and reporting
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across datasets
• Organize and document datasets within a data catalog
• Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Google Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio)
• Translate business requirements into clear data models and visual insights
• Proactively identify data issues and drive improvements
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver meaningful insights

Detailed Breakdown of Specialized Responsibilities

1. Data Platform Operational Support

Highlights the critical role as emergency backup and technical co-supervisor for the data pipeline architecture.

2. Data Warehouse Architecture & ETL

Details the core backend engineering tasks involving GCP, BigQuery, and pipeline optimization (ETL/ELT).

3. Data Visualization & Business Intelligence

Focuses on transforming data models into highly polished, intuitive dashboards and collaborating with stakeholders.

4. Strategic Data Science & AI Enablement

Emphasizes the forward-looking role in predictive modeling, forecasting, and integrating AI capabilities.

What We’re Looking For

Core Skills

• Experience working with BI tools (Data Studio, Looker or similar)
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of data modeling
• Experience with data pipelines and working in a cloud environment (GCP preferred)
• Solid understanding of data quality, validation, and consistency checks
• Ability to work across both backend data preparation and frontend visualization
• Google Workspace knowledge
