Business Intelligence Engineer

We are working with a leading US Fintech organisation and are looking to bring in a BI Engineer on a long-term basis, building a modern, open-source analytics platform used by internal teams and customers.

You will connect PostgreSQL data through Apache Cube into Apache Superset, create a reliable semantic layer, solve reporting performance issues and implement row-level security. The goal is to bring production-scale experience into a fast-moving engineering team and help launch a new reporting capability.

This isn't just a traditional BI Engineer position.

You'll be trusted to lead and influence key initiatives including:

• Scales Apache Superset and Cube - Owning a specialist stack with visible impact.
• Integrate PostgreSQL - Building the backbone of a new analytics experience.
• Define Semantic definitions - Setting standards rather than inherit a fragmented setup.
• Tune performance and row level security - Solving meaningful engineering and security problems
• Deliver customer/internal reporting - Working on products seen beyond the data team.
