Business Intelligence Engineer (Looker & Analytics)

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable Looker dashboards and reporting experiences for both internal teams and external publishers. This is a limited term role focused on improving data quality, usability, and reporting consistency.

What You’ll Do

• Build dashboards in Looker for internal and external stakeholders
• Develop LookML models and write advanced SQL
• Gather requirements and turn them into scalable reporting solutions
• Standardize metrics and reporting definitions
• Improve data trust, usability, and adoption
• Support publisher-facing analytics experiences
• Investigate discrepancies and improve reporting quality

What We’re Looking For

• Strong Looker and LookML experience
• Advanced SQL
• BI/dashboard design expertise & data presentation skills
• Experience translating business needs into reporting solutions
• Experience with data modeling and metric governance
• Comfort with CSS and front-end basics to refine dashboard styling, presentation, and embedded reporting experiences

Nice to Have

• Experience with external/client-facing reporting
• Adtech, digital media, SaaS, or publisher analytics experience
• Financial/revenue analytics background
• Experience with dashboard governance and training
• Experience using Snowflake
• Python coding experience
