Business Intelligence Platform Specialist – MicroStrategy

About the role

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Platform Specialist with hands-on experience in MicroStrategy Business Intelligence to support an enterprise BI environment. This position is primarily focused on BI platform management, administration, support, and optimization. The successful candidate will work with technical and business teams to maintain platform stability, troubleshoot issues, and support the effective delivery of business intelligence services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support the MicroStrategy Business Intelligence platform
• Perform platform administration, configuration, monitoring, and optimization
• Support the availability, performance, and reliability of the BI environment
• Troubleshoot platform-related issues and coordinate with relevant technical teams for resolution
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for platform improvement
• Support BI environment changes, upgrades, deployments, and maintenance activities
• Assist with incident and problem management related to the BI platform
• Coordinate with different teams to investigate and resolve technical issues
• Ensure adherence to established platform standards, processes, and best practices
• Provide technical support and guidance related to MicroStrategy platform operations

About you

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• 3–4+ years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, MicroStrategy, or BI platform management
• Hands-on experience with MicroStrategy Business Intelligence
• Strong understanding of BI platform administration and operations
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a BI environment
• Knowledge of platform monitoring, performance optimization, and system support
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with technical teams, business stakeholders, and other support groups
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
