Business Intelligence Specialist

Role Description

The BI Executive is responsible for transforming data into actionable business insights to support decision-making across eCommerce functions. This role ensures data accuracy, dashboard visibility, and insight generation across Marketing, Customer Experience, Operations, and Business Development. It is not limited to reporting — the BI Executive actively identifies performance gaps, growth opportunities, and strategic recommendations to drive business outcomes. The role acts as a data partner to management, enabling a data-driven culture and improving overall business performance.

Job Description

• Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI / Looker Studio
• Analyze business performance across sales, marketing, customer behavior, and operations
• Identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities with clear, data-backed insights
• Provide actionable recommendations, not just reports, Translate data into clear business narratives and recommendations
• Perform deeper analysis (cohort analysis, funnel analysis, segmentation) to support forecasting and business planning
• Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across all reports
• Help identify automation opportunities in reporting and insights generation

Job Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or similar roles
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Looker Studio
• Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
• Basic understanding of eCommerce metrics and business models
• Experience working with data from platforms like Shopify or similar systems is preferred
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders and management
• Detail-oriented with strong focus on data accuracy and reliability
• Fluent in English and Myanmar
