Business Interpreters (Freelance)

Acolad , a world-leading language services provider, is expanding its interpreting services beyond conference and community interpreting to include business interpreting .

We are looking for qualified freelance interpreters who are interested in supporting communication in a wide range of professional and corporate environments.

What is Business Interpreting?

Business interpreting covers a variety of settings, including:

• Business meetings
• Negotiations and commercial discussions
• Training sessions and workshops
• Small group meetings and stakeholder discussions

Unlike traditional conference interpreting, business interpreting typically takes place in smaller, more interactive environments and requires a flexible, client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

As a Business Interpreter, you will:

• Facilitate clear and effective communication between parties in professional and corporate contexts
• Support discussions, negotiations, training sessions, and meetings both onsite and remotely .
• Adapt to a variety of business environments and communication styles
• Provide high-quality liaison and/or consecutive interpreting services

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma, or formal training in interpreting, and/or
• Proven professional experience in interpreting services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in diverse business settings
