Business Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Business Manager to join the Peugeot & Leapmotor team at Armstrong’s Christchurch, with the support of our wider Mercedes-Benz operation.

As Business Manager, you’ll work closely with the sales team to provide a seamless experience for our Peugeot and Leapmotor customers, while ensuring every finance and insurance opportunity is maximised.

You know how to sell – not through the hard sell, but by understanding what customers need, building trust and making the finance process straightforward and comfortable. You’ll be someone customers remember for the right reasons: excellent service, sound advice and a genuine commitment to helping them find the right solution.

Experience is preferred but not essential. We’re looking for someone who understands the automotive industry. You’ll have a strong customer and sales focus, know how to confidently guide customers through their finance and insurance options, and be comfortable working to targets.

You’ll also know how to build strong relationships with finance providers and suppliers, ensuring we maximise opportunities while achieving great outcomes for both our customers and the dealership.

This is a full-time role, including weekend work and rostered days off.

The successful candidate:

• Finance & Insurance/Business Manager experience within automotive preferred
• Proven experience selling finance and insurance products
• Strong sales focus with a professional presentation
• Confident, engaging and customer-focused
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets
• Able to work effectively to deadlines
• Computer literate with strong numerical and data-entry skills
• Full, clean NZ driver licence or international equivalent
