Business Operations Analyst

About the role

As the Business Operations Analyst for TL Mabuhay Driving Lesson Academy, you will be instrumental in driving data-backed strategies to improve efficiency across our 90+ branches. Your primary role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting operational data—ranging from student enrollment metrics and instructor performance to branch profitability and fleet utilization. You will map out current standard operating procedures (SOPs), identify bottlenecks in areas like vehicle scheduling or tuition collection, and propose process improvements to optimize branch performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, transforming raw data into clear visual dashboards to help branch managers and the executive team make informed, strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data including student enrollment metrics, instructor performance, branch profitability, and fleet utilization
• Map out current standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Identify bottlenecks in areas such as vehicle scheduling and tuition collection
• Propose process improvements to optimize branch performance
• Create comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
• Transform raw data into clear visual dashboards for branch managers and executive team
• Bridge the gap between high-level operational goals and ground-level execution
• Communicate complex analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support the academy's regional expansion by ensuring operational processes are scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with commitment to high-quality defensive driving education

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• At least 2 to 4 years of proven experience as an operations analyst, data analyst, or in a similar process-improvement role
• Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Advanced Excel skills
• Familiarity with operational management software
• Previous experience in asset-heavy operations, educational networks, or transportation and fleet management is a significant advantage
