What they need
Part-Time Business Operations Lead | Executive Coaching + Digital Programs
Remote, U.S.-Based | Contract | 25 Hours/Week | $40-$50/Hour
Evolve is looking for an experienced Business Operations Lead to run the day-to-day operations of our executive coaching and digital programs business.
I’m looking for someone who has already done this work.
You’ve run launches. You understand the moving pieces behind a founder-led digital business. You know how to take a goal, reverse engineer the plan, coordinate the people and technology, watch the numbers, make decisions, and get it across the finish line.
At Evolve, I lead the business and serve as the visionary and coach. Our Business Development + Client Experience lead focuses on growing the business and serving our clients.
You will run the operating engine behind it.
You should be the kind of person who looks at what’s coming, reverse engineers what needs to happen, and makes sure I’m fully prepared before I ever have to ask.
What you'll own
- Day-to-day business operations, priorities, and operating cadence
- Launch planning, timelines, execution, and post-launch reviews
- Project management across team members, agencies, contractors, and vendors
- CRM ownership, including understanding what we need from HubSpot and figuring out how to make it happen
- Funnels, email marketing operations, workflows, automations, and customer journeys
- KPI dashboards, reporting, and using data to recommend and make business decisions
- Client and program operations
- Webinars, retreats, events, and digital program execution
- Systems, SOPs, documentation, and continuous process improvement
- Executive calendar oversight and proactive preparation for upcoming priorities
- Making operational decisions and moving work forward without waiting for founder approval on every detail
You do not need to personally be an expert HubSpot developer.
You do need to be highly technical and resourceful. If we need HubSpot to do something, I expect you to figure out what needs to happen, learn how to do it, build it, or find the right resource to get it done.
More importantly, you should be able to look at our data and say:
“Here’s what’s happening, here’s what I think it means, and here’s what I recommend we do next.”
You need to have run launches before
I’m specifically looking for someone with experience inside a coaching, consulting, course, membership, digital education, or similar founder-led business.
I want someone who has personally owned and run launches, not simply been on a team during one.
You should also have experience working with a CRM such as HubSpot and be comfortable learning technology quickly.
Our current tech stack includes HubSpot, Kajabi, Kit, WordPress, Showit, Microsoft 365, Teams, Slack, Zoom, and other digital tools.
You don’t need to know every platform on day one.
You do need to be the person who can figure out almost any platform.
AI is a requirement
You need to be an early adopter and power user of AI.
We use ChatGPT, Claude, Wispr Flow, AI agents, automations, scheduled tasks, and other tools to work smarter and faster.
This is not a “willing to learn AI” role.
I’m looking for someone who is already deeply immersed, experimenting with new tools, building bots and automations, creating AI workflows, and constantly asking:
“How could we do this faster, better, or with less friction?”
Ideally, you’ll be teaching me things too.
I’m obsessed with efficiency. We don’t do things the way they’ve always been done just because that’s the way they’ve always been done. We’re constantly improving how we operate and figuring out how to get our clients bigger results faster.
The person we're looking for
You are:
- Proactive and highly self-directed
- Excellent at turning big goals into executable plans
- Comfortable making decisions independently
- Strong with data and business judgment
- Highly organized without needing everything to already be organized
- A clear, professional communicator
- Comfortable working directly with a founder
- Good at seeing around corners and anticipating what comes next
- Able to move between strategy and rolling up your sleeves to get something done
- Energized by building better systems rather than maintaining inefficient ones
Because you’ll work closely with me, there will also be occasional executive and personal administrative support as needed, such as calendar coordination, travel, appointments, or other administrative details.
About Evolve
I’m Shayla King, executive coach and founder of Evolve. I help ambitious leaders in corporate America increase their Performance + Happiness, succeeding at a high level without sacrificing the rest of their lives to do it.
You’ll be joining a team with support across client experience, business development, podcast production, ads, and video.
This is a role with real ownership and autonomy. I want you running the day-to-day business, solving problems, improving how we work, and making decisions so I can spend more of my time leading the business, coaching, creating, selling, and doing the work only I can do.
