What they need

About Us
Proudly member-owned since 1911, National Pharmacies is on a mission to make quality healthcare more accessible and more affordable for more people. Our members get expert health, optical and beauty services, plus savings across our full range. We keep evolving to meet their needs, and we back our communities through local health programs and sponsorships.

Our people are our biggest asset. We're building a values-driven culture where every team member can help us live our purpose: Caring for People, Enabling Health and Inspiring Wellness.

Your Mission
As our Business Operations Manager, you'll lead our pharmacy store network across Victoria. You'll inspire your teams, drive business success and set the standard for outstanding customer service across the region.

You'll own the region's profit and loss, make sure each store's retail offer fits its local community, and grow and retain our members. You'll keep a close eye on competitors and market trends, and spot new and better ways to do business. You'll champion professional pharmacy services at the highest standard, and make sure every customer experience, from dispensary flow to complaint handling, is impressive.

You'll also lead your people. That means performance management, succession planning, WHS, leave and absenteeism, and championing change and culture. And you'll make sure we keep showing up for the communities we serve through local sponsorship.

What You Bring

  • Commercial Acumen: Proven leadership in retail management and a sharp eye for the numbers.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated success in performance and people management, with senior retail management experience at a corporate level.
  • Multi-Site Experience: Retail management experience across multiple sites and states.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Change & Problem Solving: You're a skilled problem solver who has led teams through change.
  • Customer Focus: A genuine commitment to outstanding service.
  • Qualifications: Qualified and experienced pharmacists are encouraged to apply, and community pharmacy experience is highly advantageous.

Why Join Us

  • An attractive remuneration package
  • Career development opportunities
  • A supportive team culture built on care, communicate, collaborate and celebrate
  • Employee discounts across our entire health and beauty range
  • Work for an organisation that invests in its business and genuinely cares for its customers and communities
