Business Performance Analyst

• Provide regular performance reports and analytical support to the Chief Operating Officer and other senior management stakeholders across retail operations and commercial functions
• Analyze business performance at store, category, brand and SKU levels, covering sales, gross profit, product mix, inventory movement, workforce productivity and other key business indicators
• Monitor results against budgets, business targets and prior-period performance, identifying performance gaps, business opportunities and areas requiring management attention
• Evaluate achievement against brand targets and the effectiveness of promotional activities, including sales uplift, profitability, sell-through and post-promotion trends
• Develop management reports and dashboards, translating data into actionable insights to support business reviews and decision-making
• Partner with Merchandising, Sales Operations, Marketing and Finance teams to develop and implement appropriate follow-up actions
• Support business planning, budgeting, forecasting and productivity improvement initiatives
• Coordinate cross-functional performance reviews, track agreed actions and provide analytical support for business improvement projects

Requirements

• University degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics or a related discipline
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in business, commercial or financial analysis, preferably within the retail or FMCG industry
• Candidates with more extensive relevant experience may be considered for the position of Senior Business Performance Analyst, with the ability to translate data into practical recommendations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across different business functions
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
