About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Business Performance Manager to join our growing team in Auckland.

This is a new leadership role at the heart of client delivery. You’ll support our Client Managers and Partners by running the workflow, ensuring the quality of work produced by our business performance team, and helping to look after client relationships. You’ll be someone who builds capability in others, keeps work moving, and holds a high standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting Client Managers to deliver work on time, to a superb standard and within budget
• Coaching and developing a high-performing team, that lives our values and hits KPIs
• Managing workflow and reviewing the quality of work produced
• Uncovering opportunities to add value for clients
• Managing client meetings and communication

About You

Ideally you’ll have:

• 3 to 5+ years’ accounting experience in public practice, with sound technical skills
• Experience reviewing work and supporting or leading less experienced team members
• Competence with Xero, Xero Practice Manager, FYI, Excel and Word
• Strong organisation and time management, with the ability to plan work and track progress against budget and deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, including the confidence to share constructive feedback
• Ability to think creatively and suggest practical solutions
