Business Planner

About the role

The Business Planner manages end-to-end supply planning based on sales forecasts, orders, and production data. This role involves analyzing and controlling KPIs, developing supplier forecasts, executing load balancing calculations, and planning production programs across assigned packages, materials, and plants.

Key responsibilities

• Manage or complete end-to-end supply planning based on sales forecast, orders, and production data
• Analyze, control and report on relevant KPI, detect plan deviations, and derive effective corrective actions
• Develop supplier forecasts and determine logistical processes with suppliers
• Analyze order plans and critical timelines, and double-check available materials, parts or products in stock
• Execute load balancing calculations and cooperate with other plants for optimized plans
• Plan monthly or weekly production programs for assigned packages, materials and plants
• Calculate and deploy short-term and long-term production plans for assigned production resources
• Analyze material and capacity requirements to support the production/build plan
• Investigate and resolve potential issues of supply plan in a timely manner
• Coordinate order fulfillment with factories, Marketing, CS and Sales

About you

• Minimum 1-3 years' experience in supply chain planning/execution in a highly technical semiconductor
• Bachelor's/College Degree in Industrial Engineering or any related course to Supply Chain
• Experience in SAP ERP and SCM, Business Objects, Promis or Equivalent and Advance Planning system
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills and well developed leadership skills
• Analytical and data-driven ability
• Able to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced, challenging environment
