Business Process Analyst

The Business Process Analyst will be responsible for evaluating, designing, and optimizing the organization’s end-to-end operational workflows.

This role combines observational field research with advanced statistical analysis to identify systemic deficiencies and recommend data-driven corrective actions.

Additionally, the analyst serves as a key governance partner, helping business unit heads draft clear, compliant policies and standard operating procedures that align with overall strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document "As-Is" banking workflows using standardized Bank templates. Analyze these flows to identify bottlenecks, redundant steps, and high-risk operational areas.
• Coordinate with business units to gather requirements and validate process changes without disrupting ongoing daily operations.
• Define, track, and report on key process performance indicators, such as transaction cycle times, error rates, and cost-to-income goals.
• Proactively review BSP regulations and compliance mandates to ensure all redesigned processes integrate robust internal controls and comprehensive audit trails.
• Determine and analyze existing operational workflows by observing frontline methods, procedures, and staff behaviors in action.
• Collect and analyze background research regarding industry-wide developments to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Study existing workflows to design, develop, and suggest systemic changes that measurably improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Deliver crystal-clear process documentation using visual flowcharts, detailed process narratives, and statistical data models.

Proficient in process workflow.

2. Analytical Capabilities:

With background in applying statistical methods, mathematical formulas, and data analysis to business problems.

3. Policy Writing:

Proficient in technical writing skills with the ability to translate complex systems into clean, and compliant bank policies.

B. Soft Skills

1. Consultative Approach:

Exceptional active listening and interviewing skills used to extract operational insights from staff.

2. Executive Communication:

Ability to package complex process data into concise, persuasive presentations for Senior Management.

C. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A. Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering (preferably), Business Administration, Operational Management, and other related fields.

B. Experience

At least 6 months experience in business process analysis, operations research, or corporate policy formulation.
