Business Process Analyst

Job Summary:

The Business Process Analyst is responsible for documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and improving business processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall organizational performance. This role works closely with stakeholders across departments to identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and support the implementation of optimized workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct end-to-end process mapping and documentation of current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) business processes
• Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
• Evaluate business processes against organizational goals, policies, and best practices
• Develop data-driven recommendations for process improvement, automation, and standardization
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate process changes
• Prepare clear and comprehensive process documentation, reports, and presentations for management and project teams
• Support the implementation of approved process improvements and monitor outcomes
• Collaborate with IT, HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure alignment of processes with systems and controls
• Ensure process changes are properly communicated and documented

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience as a Business Process Analyst, Process Improvement Analyst, or similar role
• Strong experience in process mapping, analysis, and evaluation
• Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, or similar)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate complex processes into clear, actionable recommendations
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is an advantage
